Re: Melee weapon appraisals
I choose price over quality because I'm not really supposed to have that sort of thing, and my parents would freak (its hidden in a very secure place imo) so I choose something that wouldn't make a noticeable dent on my debit card.

This thread is now about why you shouldn't edit peoples posts to include jaw breaking and property destruction when they live with internet savvy parents and are probably already on about 500 CIA lists.

Re: Melee weapon appraisals
lol is that a collapsible baton? Because I have one and I got to tell you they are fun. I also have: a about a foot and a half long kukri, 4 maces, a claymore, a battle axe, a Reliks hybrid katana, a couple arming swords, a tulwar, a sabre, 2 scimitars, a Celtic and about a dozen katanas. And some composite bows. I think I'm set lol Although I still want a Viking sword

Re: Melee weapon appraisals
Anyhoo, one weapon I plan on using, at least after everything has calmed down a bit, is probably this badass; http://www.coldsteel-uk.com/store/Two-Handed-Great-Sword.html
I can tell that people will think of one of those tiny, tiny, insignificant details about why it is not the most sensible choice so I have some other choices lined up; http://www.coldsteel-uk.com/store/Hand-and-a-Half-Sword.html or
http://www.trueswords.com/hand-forged-warrior-sword-naginata-thick-blade-p-3184.html
(my favorite) I really hope that it is battle ready and not just a display or stage fight piece. Trueswords has a lot of good stuff and it doesn't really cost much at all, which does worry me slightly but at least some of their stuff does say battle ready on it.
The thing about this website is that it has 9 other products at the bottom of the page, they change at random and while writing I've seen two things that I'll put links to here;
http://www.trueswords.com/custom-tactical-fighting-knife-guard-p-4541.html (quite interesting)
http://www.trueswords.com/pistol-bayonet-handgun-knife-kabar-laserlyte-p-4831.html (seems slightly idiotic but still interesting)
