lol You apparently are teaching him well Rooster. He learns quickly. And Genj, c'mon, you know how easily distracted we get. A discussion on post-zday government degenerated into discussion into a banjo party lol Have we considered axes? Taking zom heads and trees down with equal ease!

Spontoon Tomahawks. Can easily be wood fire(low-temp) or cold-forged from a railroad spike by an amateur. The spike makes an excellent brain poker and the head can be left alone for a hammerhead effect or can be flattened out for a hatchet edge so you can have a weapon that can swing either way.

I think a brain-poker would be less messy than a decapitator

Dual wield lol No, but if you sharpened it it wouldn't be so bad. The human skull is pretty fragile. How about a flanged mace? I've definitely been considering one.

those have some awesome destructive potential, but they can get pretty messy. I would love one, or a flail, in a medieval land war, but not so much against the walking dead.

only one problem. if you were aiming to do some damage you would have to avoid the bones, no doubt the damn thing would cleave through cartillage but through sollid bone, no chance. you would need to slice cleanly through the joints. as a butcer ive had some exiperience, take my word for it it aint easy,

id say the best use for it would be to incapasitate them, they may be undead but if you cut the hamstring they aint got a snowballs chance in hell of chasing you
