this has been popping up in several places so you may have seen it. what it is is a page that looks like an older version of google but when you enter "alpha tsentr" into the search field it inverts, does some display thing at full screen and switches to a feed of some girl in a all white room with some stuff in russian at the top. it is designed to look like a real time feed of someone living in so prison cell. then when you leave it redirects you to some video or a face book page. this is either some crazy marketing scheme where they are doing lots of counter intuitive thing, an Alternate Reality Game, a cult or some one with a lot of money fucking with people. in any case if we had something like this except instead of a girl locked in a cell make it look like security footage of some bunker over run with zombies or something like that but i think we lack the web design skills to pull this off unless some one has hidden talents they're not sharing.

some times the lights are off, some times shes out of view of the camera so if you see an empty room wait a minute if that doesn't work try again latter. i think whats shown is tied to a clock.

I'm a little disappointed its not some crazy marketing scheme for a movie or video game. it's really high quality flash work which made it look like who ever is running the show has the money to hire pros.
