"trigger finger" is a common name for index, in no way implies this was a gun accident. Not saying it wasnt, just that the evidence you put forth does not support that.

My friend thought it would be funny to hold a door shut and I thought I could yank it open because I have about 70 pounds on him. So I yank it open and I don't feel him pulling any more so I relax my grip and then he pulled back. Turns out I shifted the hand I had placed on the wall to get a good pull and the tip was taken right off. There is about a minute of lost memory after that. Next I remember I'm over a sink shouting orders at people on how to patch me up and threatening to beat the guy next to me with my good hand until I have 2 bad hands for trying to put a turnakit on my hand to stop the bleeding. After they got me to the ER I cussed out the desk attendant for asking for my insurance card and said something along the line of "Lady I just lost my finger!!!!" while shoving it up against the glass. A few minutes latter I got some awesome painkillers and calmly asked a nurse to get my cell phone back the say fuck you 100 time to the guy who cut off my finger.
