Y HALO THER!
Hey, all!
Name's RandomCarnie, but you can call me Random for short - everyone else does.
There's not a whole lot to tell: I'm a 20 year old student pursuing degrees in Hardware Engineering & Software Engineering with minors in Applied Math from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. When I'm not stuck behind a computer, I do quite a bit of shooting (not as much as I once did, but enough for the occasional tune-up), snowshoeing, backpacking, martial arts work, and I always scuba dive every chance I get. Aside from that, I do a little gaming, and chill with my fiancé and my kitty (the bloody demon).
As for relevant skills: I'm a NAUI certified Advanced-level diver w/ other certs in Nitrox, Dry-Suit diving, and AED/First-Aid/Emergency Oxygen Provision. I've also taken a number of courses on survival and land-navigation, as well as armed/unarmed combat. I can drive anything short of a big-rig, and can cook a can of Spam at least 14 different ways.

Re: Introductions
probably should have posted here first:
well I am elorangeman (theorangeman). I don't know a whole bunch of things but i really do know how to adapt to the situation around me. I do like meeting new people and I can play well with others. I know how to read maps and have a good memories, so I can make my way to a place I have been with out directions or maps after only being there once.
Also I am 21 and a guy.

Hi!Ok here's the deal, how you can get to be more known here. Most new people don't do this. Read our old threads, see the discussions that have taken place, and add your opinion. then someone will respond, start a new conversation, and you'll make friends..
hahahaa I'm sure her got that covered with his "c'mon daonta texas" skit in the regional board lol

Ooooh what's this?
Hai guys! I just found Twitch's story on another forum and found my way here and decided I like you guys, I'll stay.
I'm a former US Army Combat Engineer (we carried guns & blew stuff up long story short).
I love backpacking, hiking, fishing, hunting and all that.
I love to cook, cleaning is a big downer though.
I'm a little sleepy from working, so there's not a lot going on in my head atm (as if there usually is?), but I'll definitely be checking in frequently!

Tell me about it, I hate folding clothes but I can wash dishes for hours on end, just gimme a pair of headphones and I'm in my own little world. I find it Zen. Welcome to the club, A combat engineer is a handy person to know. I have my grandpa's old combat engineers' bayonet blade he used in vietnam, its a current project of mine, since the handle got messed up its going to be turned into a lance/hand pike kind of thing (I'm still in search of the most perfect shaft of ironwood for it)
