Contagion: The Outbreak -- A zombie-themed role-playing forum

[Contagion]

When a rabies-like virus begins affecting humans in the metropolitan city of Brookvale, Virginia, the United States government immediately enacts a quarantine to keep the infection at bay. As a citizen who is naturally immune to the virus, your character must fight your way through hordes of agile, ravenous zombies to reach safe haven within the city... Or die trying.

The game boasts a character creation that allows the use of a DnD-like dice-rolling system. This way of play is entirely optional. Through this style of creation, players become even more in touch with their characters before they even write their first in-character post.

Characters level up based on word-count and DnD roleplaying threads.

The forum is still new, but is already getting pretty active. A plot is in the works with a definite general idea that is flexible based on the actions of the community.

yeah, i noticed that after i looked around for a while.
so is the "free form" just people RP'ing. is there a GM involved in that or is it just different people telling their part of the story?

There's actually an Advertising board in the OOC section. It's guest-friendly, so you guys can post an ad on your own.

As for the free-form stuff, yes. It's just simple RPing with no GM involved.
