Certifications

What certifications do you have that would be helpful post Z-Day?
Driver's license
CPR cert.
PDT (prevention of disease transmission) cert.
Lifeguarding cert. ???

I got the last three when I went through lifeguard training

Also, what do you carry that you think would be useful?
Oklahoma Blood Institute card. (for blood type)
Periodic Table card

i always have a knife and lighter on me. sometimes permanent markers.


i currently am not certified for anything, but i think i could do most of the stuff you listed.

unless you've had training, the only thing you would do is crush their ribcage.

I don't claim to know exactly how to perform CPR but I do know the perfect speed for CPRing;

This was in the news that doctors had found that was at the perfect tempo for CPR and I think they could have found another song but they thought "lol, why the hell not?"

scuba rescue diver
universal first aid
adult and infant CPR + AED
Oxygen provider
Fire fighter type 2 (slightly expired)

skills that don't have a cert
rock climbing
guiding white water water-craft
marksmanship
backpacking/camping/ect...
small group leadership skills

stuff I carry on person
small knife multi-tool
flash drive /w medical records

stuff I carry in vehicle
wrench set
jack
electronics tool set
flares
first aid kit
multi-tool knife
backpack
emergency blanket
water canteen
1 change of cloths (long pants, belt, t-shirt, jacket, boots, etc...)
3 MREs
stun gun
watch
flashlight
work gloves
cold weather gloves
vehicle's repair manual (different from normal manual)
other stuff I'm probably forgetting
