Quite possibly the perfect disaster proof home
I'm back and after a long hiatus, in which I will be posting to the Reader's Digest Condensed Books, (LOL), I've uncovered some sources of information that may be quite beneficial when it comes to creating a safe haven in any type of disaster.
The link that's in this post is for a company out of Colorado who makes shotcrete buildings. For those of you not aware of what shotcrete is, its a different type of mixture of concrete that is sprayed under pressure over a metal framework creating free standing domes or other structures that are very strong. This company is the only one that I know of that has been certified by the DOE and DOD that their housing is nuclear blast proof.
Considering how its made, it appears that just about anyone can build the framework themselves after getting the kit from the company to save on some cash. The only reason I found these people is that the property I have as my 'site B' retreat has a home similar to what Formworks makes, in fact it might actually be one of theirs, I really don't know.
If a group of members in the same regional area were to combine resources, they could get one of these built as a safehouse. If its nuclear blast, earthquake, tornado, hurricane and fireproof, more than likely its Z proof.
